It provides multiple services with regards to voter id, right from getting a new voters card to correcting the errors in the existing card. ItzCash Card Ltd through this initiative will facilitate voters in getting their errors in the existing voter ID cards (Name/Age/Sex/Address Included in the Electoral Roll) corrected in a hassle free & quick manner. This facility will enable first time voters to get their names registered online & subsequently getting their new voter id. This online registration can also be used for deletion of deceased or electors who have shifted their residence or for filing objection. This facility is now available in Mumbai & Thane District. Speaking on the tie-up, Mr. Naveen Surya, Managing Director ItzCash Card Ltd., said, “This tie-up is initiated keeping in mind the interest of people facing difficulty in getting their correct voter id. It is among one of the many citizen services provided by ItzCash to the citizen’s of India”. ItzCash through its 600 franchise branded as ItzCash World (ICW) outlets in Mumbai will enable the entire online activity of registering for the upcoming elections as well as getting the personal information corrected. A customer can go to a nearby ICW and avail any of the services provided. The ICWs have webcams installed to capture the photograph of the applicant and upload the same with the e-form for the customers. This enables people to get their photographs, which is mandatory in voter id cards. According to the Deputy Collector and Dy Dist. Election Officer Mumbai City District, Sanjay Bhagvat, “The last election had created a lot of interest on the young voters & there were instances of people having trouble in getting their voter ids. This initiative taken by Election office - Mumbai in partnership with ItzCash has enabled people in getting their process done in a systematic way.
